For That Blessed Hope is a family band ministry of the Albert and Nancy Brouillette family of Peyton, Colorado. We are
a Christian family, and the purpose of our family and our band is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ with our lives and our music. Our
primary goal in making music is not entertainment, but presenting the Gospel to the lost, and encouraging Christ's Church toward deeper
love, commitment, and surrender to God. For this reason, our music will always express a Christian viewpoint, and never encourage
or glorify behavior or attitudes which are contrary to a holy, Biblical, Christian lifestyle. And while expressing
that message musically, it is our fervent prayer that our listeners will be pleasantly blessed and strengthened in the faith.
Meet
the band members:
Al is the father of the family. He is the song writer of the family so far and has written several of
our songs. He does both lead and harmony singing and also plays rhythm guitar.
Nancy is the mother of 8 children. She has homeschooled
all of them, and has graduated two of them out of High School. She does a lot of harmony singing, and hopes to one day (when she has
the time) to learn the mandolin.
Albert is 19 and is the real musical person of the family. He plays the banjo, lead guitar,
mandolin, and any other instrument that he wants to.
Elise is 16 and is our fiddle player. She is also one of our main singers
and mainly sings lead vocals although she is working on singing some harmony.
Timothy is 14 and is our dobro
player. Like his brother Albert, however, he can also play several other insruments, though not in the band.
Thomas is also 14
and the twin brother of Timothy. Thomas is our bass player and can play either a stand-up bass or an electric bass. Not
to be left out, he can also play several other insruments, although not in the band.
Nancy is 11 and has high hopes of following
Elise in playing the fiddle. She is also starting to help with the singing in our band which has been lots of fun. She is the animal
person in our family, and we have not yet found an animal that she does not like!
Amy is 9 and also wants to learn to play the
fiddle. She is also starting to help with the singing
which has also been lots of fun. She has a soft heart and is compassionate
toward both people and animals.
Michel is 6 and thinks that it would be fun to learn the fiddle someday. He has a very cute smile
that will win your heart immediately. His big brown eyes are irresistable and he is a favorite everywhere we go!
